About Imperial College London:
Imperial College London’s mission is to achieve enduring excellence in research and education in science, engineering, medicine and business for the benefit of society
President of Imperial, Professor Hugh Brady, leads the College in its strategy, including the development of its 25 acre White City Campus, and its links to government, industry, philanthropists and alumni. As Chief Executive of the College, the President is the principal academic and administrative officer and has a general responsibility to the Council.
The Provost, Professor Ian Walmsley, reports directly to the President and is responsible for the delivery of the College’s core mission: education, research and translation.
Three committees form the governance structure of Imperial. The Council is the governing and executive body of the College. The Court provides a public forum where the wider interests served by the College can be raised. The Senate is the academic authority of the College which works to direct and regulate the teaching work of the College.
